Our History

A Legacy of Faith and Devotion

Founded through the dedication and sacrifice of faithful Serbian Orthodox Christians, Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church stands as a testament to enduring faith and unity. From its earliest beginnings, the parish was established to provide a spiritual home where Orthodox Christians could gather to worship God, celebrate the Holy Mysteries, and pass on the faith to future generations.

Through prayer, perseverance, and the guidance of the clergy, the parish grew into a thriving church community. Our Patronal Feast

Holy Ascension Serbian Orthodox Church is dedicated to the Feast of the Ascension of our Lord Jesus Christ—celebrating Christ’s glorious return to heaven and His promise of the coming of the Holy Spirit. This feast reminds us of our calling to live a life centered on Christ, lifting our hearts and lives toward the Kingdom of God.

Each year, our parish joyfully celebrates this holy day with prayer, worship, and fellowship, reaffirming our faith and unity as a church family.
